About This Project

HCT Floors was the successful tender to supply our Client, David Payne Constructions, with all the timber components required for the refurbishment of the Administration/Conference Building at Western Plains Zoo.

Spotted Gum Cladding was used to the external of the building, which was complimented by a beautiful Spotted Gum Timber Deck, with new timber sunshade structure in the forecourt to protect the Zoo Visitors from the daily sun.

On the banks of the dam a large Timber Boardwalk and a Ceremony Platform we built using Select Grade Tallowwood sourced from prime forests in NSW. Various sizes up to 200 x 70mm thick Tallowwood for the structure was perfectly completed with 200 x 50 Decking Boards, producing an outstanding result for Western Plains Zoo.
